Our Era Foundation is a California nonprofit started by a family living with Rett syndrome. It funds research grants toward treatments, and it shares Our Era Communication Tools, a set of free communication and literacy tools built for a child who communicates with her eyes.

We put our funding into work that can change the course of Rett syndrome for the children living with it now. Our Era Foundation is a California nonprofit corporation; recognition as a 501(c)(3) public charity is pending.

Our grants fund the research itself. Indirect costs are limited to 8% of personnel and laboratory consumable costs and are included within the award, not added on top.
